Or How About This?
Health is the state of our physical being be it excellent, good, or poor.
Our environment, the food and drink we take, the amount and frequency of exercise we do, the amount of rest and sleep we put in, our state of mind and emotions and even our hereditary traits will determine the state of our health.
To be in good health, the trick is to keep all of the above in balance. We might probably inherit some of our physical weaknesses but if we put in the effort we can turn them into strengths.
Do You Agree That Excellent Health Is Important?
Imagine yourself buying a new car. What would you want? First and foremost you want extended warranty, maintenance and insurance. You want it to give you the best performance for the longest period possible.
And hey if I tell you that you can only have this one car for the rest of your life, would you not treat it with tender loving care?
You know what? Most of us take far better care of our cars than we do of our bodies. Don’t you think so? We tend to forget that we have only one body that will last until the end of our life.
We don’t stop to think that how well it performs and how long it lasts depend on our care and attention.
Ask yourself: How well do you treat your physical body? Do you give it the best fuel for peak performance? Are you guilty of filling it with clogged fuel which causes it to sputter and breakdown on occasion?
Do you scrub and clean the inside and out regularly to keep it dirt free?
How To Get Good Health?
The two main factors are what we put into our body and how we strengthen it through exercise.
There is no such thing as “I suddenly have a heart attack, or diabetes, or high blood pressure, or stroke”. It happened because of the unhealthy food and drinks you have been taking day in and day out.
Your body has been working overtime to protect you. However, after a period of time it cannot take it anymore and you get struck down.
And whatever has happened to you in the past, you can rebuild your health through your wise choice of food and drink, and through a good regular fitness program.
Or Would You Rather Depend On Drugs?
You have to know that drugs are like band-aids. That’s because they are used to cover up the symptoms. Be aware that they were not developed or formulated to strengthen and heal the body.
Think For Yourself Whether Food Or Drugs is Better for Your Health
Don’t you think that food is a smarter choice?
The best food for your body come from:
• raw fruits and vegetables (occasionally some slightly cooked)
• raw nuts, seeds and sprouts
• whole grains – sprouted and/or cooked in their whole form
• whole legumes (beans) – sprouted and/or cooked in their whole form
Basically the above four food groups can provide all the necessary nutrients that the body needs: complete proteins, balanced carbohydrates, healthy fats, vitally important fiber, and a high concentrate of vitamins and minerals.
And don’t forget that we need good purified water.
With that you would have provided for yourself all the nourishment, cleansing, increased energy, health and strength.
The above is quite common knowledge. But just ask those around you. How many of them take such a balanced diet? Probably you find only 10 to 20 percent of them do. So I would say that it’s really tough to achieve such a balanced diet.
The other 80 to 90 percent would usually eat fast food and processed foods. And what do they get?
Plenty of trans fats, animal proteins (also high in fat), calories and unhealthy carbohydrates, but small amounts of fiber, minerals, vitamins, and digestive enzymes.
So now you know why most people are overweight and experiencing many disorders? It’s simply because their bodies do not get the proper nutrition to function. So their bodies will react and you will see “disorder” and illness.
Next time, think before you eat. Anyway, it’s for your own good. So consider the nutritional value of the foods because eating healthy foods is necessary for great health.
